Geography Teacher - Salford - January start We are supporting a large secondary school in Salford who are recruiting for a teacher of Geography on a full time basis. The role will start in January until July and you will be asked to teach classes in key stage 3 - 4. This position is full time, and the successful teacher will teach Geography to key stage 3 to 5 classes of varying academic abilities. You will be expected to become fully involved in school and attend departmental meetings and parents' evenings, as well as plan, prepare and deliver exciting lessons and subsequently mark the work and provide regular feedback to students.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Degree educated with a good classification Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in Geography Previous experience teaching History to young people (which we can reference) Experience of teaching in a UK Secondary School (which we can reference) Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided) Up to date prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate that is on the update service or be willing to process a new application Provide at least two professional child related references to cover the last two years If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply today with a copy of your up to date CV.
