Qualifications:
Teaching Assistant Level 1 or 2, First Aid, Safeguarding
Job Duties:
* Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
* Assisting the teacher in planning and delivering lessons tailored to individual student needs
* Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN to help them achieve their learning goals
* Assisting with behaviour management and promoting a positive learning environment
* Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress and development
* Covering and supervising the class in the absence of the teacher.
Required Qualifications:
* Teaching Assistant Level 1 or 2 qualification
* First Aid certification
* Safeguarding training
* MUST have experience with covering the whole class
Education:
Minimum of Teaching Assistant Level 1 or 2 qualification
Experience:
Prior experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team
* Strong organisational skills
* Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional training in specific SEN areas
* Experience working in a similar role
Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
