Accounts Assistant – Construction Industry

Our client is a well-established and thriving construction company based in Woodbridge, Suffolk. They specialize in the residential sector providing new builds, refurbishments, and extensions. They are currently searching for an administrator with previous experience working for a construction company. The role can offer strong career progression for ambitious individuals. The role will be office-based.
ROLE:
The role will involve general administration duties as well as inputting data into Sage or Xero, dealing with supplier payments, receipts, invoices, etc.
CANDIDATE:
* Previous experience within a construction, civil engineering, maintenance, or engineering background is desired but not essential.
* Background in Accounts or Administration with experience assisting payroll.
* Steady work history is desired.
* Computer literacy with experience of Word and Excel is essential.
* Experience of data entry and document control is desired.
* Must have own transport as the office is difficult to access on public transport.
* Willing to work in the office.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Very effective planning and organizational skills.
