Job Responsibilities:
5. Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
6. Strong knowledge of the curriculum
7. Punctual and reliable
8. Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
9. Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
10. Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
11. Set homework and mark promptly
12. Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
13. Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
14. Respond to questioning
Preferred Skills:
15. Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
16. strong classroom management
17. Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
18. Be an inspiring and engaging communicator
19. use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience
Personal Attributes:
20. you will have a genuine passion for teaching
21. experience up to key stage 3/4
22. QTS/PGCE equivalent
