IDEO London is seeking an experienced Interaction Designer with a passion for creating human-centered digital experiences. As an IDEO Interaction Designer, you will work on multidisciplinary teams to design innovative, intuitive, and engaging digital and non-digital experiences for a variety of client projects, ranging from product to system-level challenges.

Once Here You Will…
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and partners on diverse digital challenges
* Create user-centered designs that prioritize human needs and experiences across various platforms
* Develop interactive prototypes and wireframes to communicate design concepts effectively
* Conduct usability testing, contribute to user research, and iterate on designs based on user feedback
* Apply interaction design principles to enhance user engagement and experience
* Work on projects ranging from product-level to system-level interactions
* Participate in all design consultancy phases, from research to strategy and prototyping
* Have opportunities for collaboration and projects across Europe and beyond
* Actively contribute to IDEO's London hub, building community and expertise around interaction design
We're looking for someone with…
* 3-5 years of interaction design experience, showcasing a clear passion and direction for the field
* Strong visualization and prototyping skills, with hands-on experience using tools like Figma, Adobe XD or any other modern high-fidelity prototyping tool of choice
* Proficiency in user-centered design methodologies, including understanding of user research and usability testing
* Experience in responsive design for various devices and screen sizes
* Strong feel for interaction design principles, animation, and micro-interactions
* Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or development frameworks like React, ReactNative, and use of AI tools to accelerate prototyping
* Commitment to accessibility and inclusive design practices
* Ability to analyze user data and metrics to inform design decisions
* Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
* An Interaction Design qualification or equivalent work experience
It's a bonus if you…
* Have experience working in digital product teams
* Are proficient in data-driven design practices
* Have experience bringing new digital products or services to launch in the market
* Have leveraged AI tools & emerging tech in the design process
* Are confident in facilitating workshops
* Are curious about the emerging technology (mixed reality, machine learning, GenAI, distributed web, etc…) and you’re using coding or software tools in a creative way.

Compensation
£45,000-£60,000 GBP, depending on experience.
Location
This position is based out of our London studio. Please note that the successful candidate must be based in the UK and have the unrestricted right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. IDEO proudly supports flexible work.
