Are you a Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Room Leader, or Nursery Teaching Assistant seeking work from October half term?
We are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner to join one of our inspiring Hyndburn Nurseries as a Nursery Assistant. If you are passionate about making a difference to children’s development and learning, this role may be for you!
Hours: Full-time and Part-time: Monday - Friday (hours may vary)
Pay: £12.90 - £13.50
Location: Hyndburn
Your Responsibilities:
1. Make a positive impact on children’s educational journey.
2. Have a nurturing personality to support the needs of the children, prioritising their wellbeing.
3. Ability to support children with additional needs.
4. Deliver engaging group activities to Key Worker children.
5. Provide daily care to your key children, encouraging them to become independent.
6. Be calm and approachable for children, parents/carers, and staff, demonstrating clear communication.
7. Promote high standards of quality within the nursery learning environment.
8. Be responsible for carrying out observations so that gaps in children’s development can be identified.
Your Requirements:
1. Support the teacher in creating a safe, fun, and stimulating environment.
2. Work collaboratively with the Nursery teacher, other professionals, and parents.
3. Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS framework.
4. Relevant experience working with children in a childcare setting.
5. Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner Qualification or equivalent.
6. Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
