We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Pharmacy Assistant / Pharmacy Second Checker to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Hewell, a category B Prison located in Worcestershire. The prison houses men on remand as well as those who are sentenced and is very busy.
Hours
This is a bank role so the hours are flexible but we are looking for someone who is able to work over weekends ideally.
Salary
This is a bank role and the rate is £13.04 per hour.

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
Main duties of the job
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be completing general dispensary duties and stock management. You will be working as an active member of the Pharmaceutical team to ensure delivery of the pharmaceutical service. You will provide a timely and efficient service to the prison wings. You will receive prescriptions and stock returns from wing-based clinical areas. You will collect orders from suppliers from the Main Gate and arrange collection of returns. You will participate in dispensing of prescriptions.
