We are currently looking for a dynamic, motivated senior research nurse to help lead the busy Cardiology Research Department at Barts Health NHS Trust,one of the biggest cardiovascular centres in Europe.
Theprimary responsibility of the post holder will be to support the management and smooth running of the studies at the BHC research department. Take a leading role in the management of a portfolio of industry and academic studies, initiate and manage different projects within various sub-specialities in the department. The post holder will be based within the Barts Heart Centre Research Department but will work closely with our partners Queen Mary, University of London.
You will be a RN with at least 3 years’ experience and 2 years at band 7 level delivering cardiovascular research. You will have a strong cardiovascular background and experience of novel therapies. You must demonstrate strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, be computer literate, flexible and be able to manage your own time effectively.

Please note: When calculating the basic salary for sponsorship, HCAS (High-Cost Area Supplement) is not included for non-medical roles. This ensures fairness and consistency within our organisation, as some of our sites fall under inner HCAS, while others are classified as outer HCAS.
