Qualifications/Experience and skills
Essential criteria
* Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice MBChB or equivalent
* At least three years working in hospital medicine following primary medical qualification. At least 2 years working in GIM or a medical speciality.
* Effective communication skills. Good organisation skills. Works well within a multidisciplinary environment. Team working. Positive and enthusiastic approach to care of patients.
* Meets professional health requirements in line with GMC Standards/ Good Medical Practice.
* Full MRCP.
* Valid ALS.
Desirable criteria
* Completion of core medical training or equivalent.
* Experience in Gastroenterology.
* Computer Literacy.
* Experience of required practical procedures.
