£44,363 - £46,698 per year plus Company car or car allowance

We have an opportunity for a Design Coordinator/ Construction Design Coordinator to join our Construction Technical Design team, based in our Worcester office. The team works together with various departments within Sanctuary to deliver construction projects in line with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate would be a Design Coordinator/Technical Coordinator currently working for a medium to large housebuilder/developer.
The role of Design Coordinator/Construction Design Coordinator will include:
* Coordinating design elements in a number of construction projects from initial post planning all the way through to project completion
* Engage architects, engineers and other consultants to deliver the project from the planning stage through to construction on site
* Monitor the delivery of technical aspects of construction projects to ensure compliance with design and quality standards and Health and Safety legislation in line with company’s objectives
* Develop and maintain up to date knowledge of current and developing Construction, Design and Management legislation
Skills and experiences:
* HND or Degree in Architecture, Building or Construction
* Working knowledge of the latest building regulations, NHBC and LABC regulations
* Proven experience of managing projects throughout a project lifecycle with strong project management skills
* Proven experience of staff and contractor performance management
* Ability to use AutoCAD would be an advantage
* Previous experience with a housebuilder and/or Architect is desirable
* Intermediate user of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
* This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
