We are thrilled to be looking to appoint a Stores Manager to work for our innovative client in Bradford!
An exciting and busy manufacturing business, this client designs and manufactures quality and innovative products and solutions that transform working environments globally.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Manage a small team of operatives across two sites and delegate work as needed.
2. Ability to manage and be hands-on in stores role.
3. Deal with stock requisitions from the shop floor and issue as appropriate.
4. Take responsibility for supporting the development of the store’s function and improving existing processes.
5. Issue components/kits for works orders ensuring they are in the correct location.
6. Conduct regular stock-taking activities.
7. Manual handling of goods.
Your Knowledge and Experience:
1. Experience managing a small team and delegating.
2. Demonstrable experience working in a similar role within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
3. Stock handling and purchasing experience.
4. Sound knowledge of good working practices relating to Health & Safety Regulations.
5. Excellent I.T. skills with knowledge of stock systems.
6. Excellent organisation skills and good attention to detail.
7. Confident communicator both written and verbal, good at multitasking, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
8. A forklift truck licence.
9. You will be friendly, approachable and flexible.
