We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our Enfield team at Greggs as a Supplies People Manager supporting our manufacturing and logistics functions over two local sites. Reporting into the Senior Supplies People Manager, we're looking for someone who is up for a challenge and who is looking to make their mark in landing our people initiatives.

About the role
* This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered

* The base location for this role is Enfield.
What you'll do
* Develop strong relationships with the site leadership teams, working collaboratively to influence and challenge ways of working
* Deliver our people plan and objectives across the two sites
* Focus on the importance of people by providing professional expertise, support and advice to managers and colleagues, encouraging fair, impartial and consistent employee relations
* Manage complex ER issues and share best practice with your Supply People Manager colleagues
* Drive colleague engagement ensuring effective action plans are in place and a colleague listening strategy is fully implemented
* Participate in working groups to develop and improve people policies and procedures
* Drive effective labour planning, succession planning and performance management activities to meet the current and future needs of the sites
* Coach and develop high performing management teams to ensure a great environment for our colleagues
* Ensure the effective management of all employee absence and wellbeing policies and initiatives
* Drive our diversity, inclusion and wellbeing initiatives
* Deliver results in a fast-paced environment
About you
You will fit right into this role if you:
* Are a leader with a proven track record in people management and people development
* Have a track record of forming and strengthening trusted relationships with business stakeholders
* Have excellent written & verbal communication skills and the ability to present ideas and opportunities (including using known presentational tools)
* Can demonstrate excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
* Can demonstrate a proven ability to provide excellence in customer service
* Can multi-task and work with multiple priorities at pace, delivering results within tight timescales
* Have advanced IT skills including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
* Are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative
* Enjoy being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together
