Salary: Up to £53,000 plus £5319 London Weighting, depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Location: Office Base is London Television Centre. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.

THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Analyst to join the Brands & Licensing finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will work across two key lines of business within Licensing, namely Radio & Music and Live Events, with potential opportunities to assist in other areas as needed.
The Analyst will provide professional financial support to key stakeholders, ensure effective control of financial processes, and deliver operational excellence. They will work alongside Finance Business Partners delivering financial and business analysis to help solve key business problems, progress initiatives, answer questions, and influence decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Reporting
* Support the businesses by ensuring accurate and timely billing of royalties, involving close management of financial processes and rigorous review of royalty statements.
* Work with internal and outsourced finance teams to reconcile accounts and provide complete and accurate revenue and pay calculations.
* Assist with forecasting and budgeting, ensuring accurate reflection of actuals and explanation of variances.
* Support month-end reporting, including information provision, analysis, and commentary for stakeholders.
Analysis & Insight
* Review and challenge record company royalties and audit statements.
* Analyze tour and event costs, and audit ticket sale and royalty reporting.
* Support monthly business reviews, risks, and opportunities discussions with stakeholders.
* Deliver high-quality financial analysis with actionable recommendations to influence business decisions.
* Perform investigative analysis across interconnected units (e.g., technology, HR, production).
* Identify opportunities for efficiencies and value generation.
* Ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls, and assist with audits.
Stakeholder Management
* Maintain effective relationships across the Finance community.
* Develop strong relationships with key business and finance stakeholders.
* Keep teams informed of issues and decisions impacting them.
* Build understanding of the divisional business to support effective relationships.
* Resolve ongoing financial and business issues promptly.
What Does It Take?
Essential Criteria:
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Experience reviewing and auditing company royalty statements.
* Significant experience delivering high-quality accounting and reporting services.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence.
* Ability to simplify complex data/principles for wider understanding.
* Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience analyzing tour/event costs and auditing ticket sale and royalty reports is highly desirable.
