Role Overview:
As Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in growing our business by targeting and developing new opportunities, securing new projects, and strengthening existing relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development and sales within the commercial interior construction industry, with a particular focus on doors, windows, and joinery highly desired.
A technical understanding of the products, industry regulations, and legislation is key to ensuring success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Actively identify and secure new business opportunities within the commercial interior construction market. Develop and implement strategies to reach new clients, build long-term relationships, and drive revenue growth.
- Client Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and continued satisfaction. Manage accounts and liaise regularly to meet client needs and expectations.
- Product Knowledge and Industry Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our extensive product range and stay up to date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and legislation. Use this knowledge to guide customers through the tender process and ensure their requirements are met.
- Technical and Regulatory Understanding: Work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Communicate technical product specifications to clients effectively and confidently.
- Market Intelligence: Keep a pulse on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Autonomous Sales Role: Take ownership of your sales territory, driving your own lead generation and sales efforts. Manage your own diary effectively, ensuring visits to clients, meetings, and follow-ups are completed efficiently.
- Reporting & Analytics: Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and progress updates to the senior leadership team. Monitor KPIs and track progress towards sales targets.
