Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Respiratory Practitioner to join the Paediatric Respiratory Physiology service to help with the expansion of our service.
Experience of performing spirometry in children is essential. The successful candidate will need excellent interpersonal skills, be able to motivate and develop others. They should enjoy working as part of a team but also be able to work autonomously.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of this role will be covering a variety of respiratory and sleep diagnostic investigations. The successful candidate will be expected to be proficient in performing Spirometry and FeNO. Experience and knowledge of further respiratory and sleep investigations would be advantageous; however further training can be provided.
There will also be an aspect of administrative duties required for the role.

Training and Qualifications
Essential:
* 5 GCSE's A-C (Maths, English and Science)
* ARTP Full Certificate in Paediatric Spirometry
Desirable:
* Science based A Levels
Experience

* Previous experience of working with children, ideally in a healthcare setting
* Knowledge and practical experience of routine lung function and basic sleep investigations
