Job summary The Estates Department provides a comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation service of the buildings, grounds, engineering services and associated equipment throughout the Trust. You must have served a recognised Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship and gained a wide experience in building engineering services and plant maintenance with a BTEC HNC level or City and Guilds plus relevant post apprenticeship training or equivalent experience. You must hold a current UK driving licence and reside within half an hour normal travel time to fulfil on-call duties. The role is Monday - Friday with participation in an emergency on-call rota plus opportunities for overtime and weekend working. Salary - Band 5 plus local RRP (£3,277 pa), with an approximate £1,000 pa on-call retainer, overtime, 27 days holiday & voluntary pension scheme.
