Senior Account Manager – International Shipping/Logistics
Location: Basildon, Essex
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
Job Type: Permanent/Full-time (1 day WFH)

The opportunity:
As the Senior Account Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Customer Experience and the team to deliver exceptional service. Your primary responsibility will be driving commercial growth in line with company targets. This role involves both office and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage key accounts within the existing sales and account management team.
* Identify and implement cost-saving measures for the business.
* Clearly demonstrate value to the customer profile.
* Present business reviews on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
* Support profitable revenue growth within designated customer portfolios.
* Identify, qualify, and generate new revenue within existing customer bases, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
* Collaborate with the existing team and other business units to improve service delivery.
* Provide top-tier customer service, prioritizing customer needs.
* Generate reports for customers and internal stakeholders.
* Consistently maintain and grow revenue streams according to set customer needs.
* Deliver outstanding customer experiences, regularly presenting feedback to relevant teams.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
* Minimum of 3 years in account management, ideally within Shipping/managing online retail customers
* Demonstrated success in sales and growth within customer profiles.
* Customer Service Skills
* Strong ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
* Highly self-motivated and driven.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients and business associates.
* High business and commercial acumen with the ability to collaborate effectively with the sales team and provide excellent customer support.
* Quick learner of internal systems and company products/processes.
* Ability to react swiftly to competitor threats and build strong customer relationships to maximize revenue opportunities.
Personal Attributes/Skills:
* Highly driven, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about the company and customers vision.
* Team player with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
* Confident and calm under pressure, adaptable to change.
