How to contribute to our vision
The position will consist of 30% internal projects and 70% on leadership and the tasks within. For that reason, we are looking for a person with great people skills, who has a high level of empathy, but also with a project management proven mindset and a “get it done” attitude.
We will expect the Team Lead to seek development opportunities for the team members by supporting their vision for a development path and clearing their path to reach those goals.
We also expect a mindset of constant improvement linked op with actions to see that we as the global lifting department reach our full potential.
More specifically, your main responsibilities will cover:
1. Leading and development of a global team of dedicated Heavy Lift Specialists allocated to projects across the world by setting the direction both in targets, processes and behavior.
2. Driving internal projects to their goals and ensuring proper implementation, communication, and stakeholder management hereof.
3. Be the first point of contact for any issues, personal as well as professional, and provide the psychological safety mindset needed for the team to feel supported.
4. Improve and optimize processes and “routines” for the team to meet its full potential through the implementation of new initiatives.
5. Monitor the pipeline/roadmap demand to ensure proper and sufficient manpower placement.
6. Ensure the competences within the team through competence management, sufficient onboarding and tracking of development.
7. Provide progress and tracking of internal projects and own the project from start to end.
8. Supporting the budget calculations and headcount reviews.
9. Safeguarding the planning, execution and management of offshore Heavy Lifting operations, ensuring they are consistently to a standard and quality that ensures the safety of employees, customers and the public in compliance with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy policies and applicable country legal requirements. specific laws, regulations and instructions
10. Driving Siemens Gamesa safety culture based on knowledge and requirements of legislation, regulations and codes of practice that relate to offshore heavy lifting operations
11. Continuously improving Siemens Gamesa standards and working procedures associated with Offshore and Onshore lifting Operations
12. Nomination of competent appointed persons / Lifting Specialists for SGRE heavy lift operations
13. Contributes to continuous innovation in offshore technology
What you need to make a difference

14. You have leadership skills and ambitions to improve status quo
15. You have strong and proven project management skills
16. You have strong technical detail knowledge of Heavy Lift operations offshore and or onshore
17. As a person you are outgoing and proactive, have an analytical mindset, and you possess strong organizational, coordination and communication skills
18. In addition, you are a dedicated team player capable of creating and keeping an overview of complex tasks
19. You have an understanding of cultural barriers and cross-cultural communication
20. You are open-minded, outspoken, approachable, and you respect others
21. You are fluent in English both orally and in writing, and you possess skills in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD etc.
22. Support diversity in all aspects contributing to the mindset, philosophy, and targets of Siemens Gamesa
23. Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience. Ideally in project execution and construction for offshore / onshore wind
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, naval architecture, nautical science, project management, or similar.
You should expect to travel up to 25% of your time, primarily visiting regional offices and sites globally.
