About the Role: Start Date: January 2024 Contract: Full-time (part-time considered for the right candidate) Pay Rate: £162–£251 per day (dependent on experience and pay scale) Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in Art and Design to students across KS3 and KS4. Plan and deliver a curriculum that encourages creativity, technical skills, and critical thinking. Support students in developing their artistic abilities, from drawing and painting to digital design. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and confidence. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Prepare students for GCSE assessments, ensuring they meet their academic potential. Organise and oversee extracurricular activities such as art clubs or exhibitions. What We’re Looking For: A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent. Experience teaching Art and Design in a secondary school setting. A passion for creative education and the ability to inspire students of all abilities. Strong knowledge of various art techniques, materials, and design principles. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
