About the role:
The Hobby Horse Nursery is part of the Banbury and Bicester College, and we are now looking for casual bank staff to join our friendly nursery team. You will assist staff in the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and support the planning and preparation of activities to meet the physical, educational, personal social and emotional needs of the children who attend the Children’s Centre. We provide childcare for up to 62 children a day, between the ages of three months to 5 years. These are casual hours, which may vary from week to week.
About you:
* It is desirable if you have experience working with children aged 3 months to 5 years but this is not essential.
* Up to date knowledge and experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum is preferred, but not essential.
* Level 2 Safeguarding qualification is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
You will also have excellent interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing high quality childcare, and will benefit from being part of a supportive team, working in a varied and interesting role with a variety of opportunities for career development.
