We are seeking a skilled Master Data Analyst to join our Data team and support the delivery of critical data initiatives. Reporting to the Master Data Manager, this role will be responsible for driving data governance practices and ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of key business data. Using the Profisee MDM platform, you will play a vital role in establishing and maintaining a single, trusted source of truth across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
* Owning and maintaining golden master records across critical data assets—your records are the source of truth.
* Building and evolving a data model that aligns with the business's core processes and drives consistency.
* Developing matching logic and survivorship rules to ensure data stays pristine.
* Designing and managing data entity relationships, including workflow and event processing.
* Defining and executing business rules, managing data governance workflows, and owning MDM data mapping and ingestion.
* Running data quality surveys, crafting quality rules, and implementing standards to ensure the master data is always on point.
* Creating and maintaining exception reports and KPIs, and working with business teams to troubleshoot and improve data quality.
Requirements:
* 3+ years solid, hands-on experience with MDM platforms (especially Profisee), strong SQL/data governance skills, and who’ve worked cross-functionally in data-driven environments.
* Relevant degree or certification in a data-related field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or equivalent. Certifications in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or Profisee MDM are advantageous.
* A digital-first mindset: You embrace change, collaboration, and innovation like second nature.
* You’re data-obsessed - details matter and accuracy is non-negotiable.
* Not interested in fitting into the mold? Perfect. We want fresh thinkers, not factory settings.
* Hands-on experience with master data management, ideally Profisee MDM.
* Solid background in data quality surveys and standards.
* Skilled with tools like SQL, ETL platforms, data modeling, and data visualisation tools.
* Strong technical problem-solving chops with an eye for patterns and anomalies.
* Proven track record of working cross-functionally with stakeholders—data stewards, IT, business units, vendors—you name it.
What’s In It For You?
* A competitive salary between £45,000 and £55,000, based on your experience.
* 26 days annual leave, rising to 30 with length of service (plus bank holidays).
* A generous pension scheme through AON.
* A benefits package designed to support your wellbeing—including health MOTs, physiotherapy, counselling, Cycle to Work, retail discounts, life assurance, and more.
