We are currently seeking energetic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants for primary schools across Bristol. The role will be based on a term-time, Monday to Friday schedule, with working hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational, developmental, and welfare needs of pupils within a special school setting.
Your responsibilities will include assisting teachers in lesson provision, managing school resources, and contributing to the overall supervision and well-being of pupils throughout the school day.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Maths
- A Teaching Assistant qualification (minimum level 3) is desirable
- Experience in class supervision and supporting lesson delivery to achieve positive learning outcomes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teaching staff
- Empathy and understanding of the needs of students
