We are looking for Band 6 nurse to join one of our Community Nursing teams based at Trinity House in Ashford, Kent.

This is a perfect opportunity for nurses wanting to move into a community based setting. You will need to specialist practitioner district nurse qualification to perform your duties but is you don't have this don't let it be a deterrent from applying as we are happy to take you on as a trainee whilst we support you to gain this qualification. You will benefit from on the job training and expert support from your team.
Our service operates seven days a week from 8am – 6pm. These extended working hours allows more flexible working for anyone looking for more flexible hours.
Weekend working is generally on a 1:4 ratio with days off during the week.
There are two teams supporting patients registered with GP practices working in the Ashford area and surrounding villages within the Ashford Primary Care Network.
Each team has two senior nurses who to take responsibility for a defined geographical area, and provide clinical leadership to their Band 5, Band 4 and Band 3 staff. The team will work together to manage caseload patients delivering a high-quality service.
Due to the community based nature you will need to drive your own car. Please be aware if we have a high number of applicants we may close the job early so best to get your application in early!
Additional Working Pattern: Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm with rotational weekends
