If so, we would love for you to join our team as an SEN Teaching Assistant in Bournemouth We are offering both full-time and part-time positions, allowing you to work flexibly around your personal commitments. Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized support to students with SEN, enabling them to fully engage with the curriculum. Assist in creating and implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for students. Collaborate with class teachers to ensure an inclusive, positive learning environment for all students. Provide one-on-one and small group support, helping students achieve academic and social goals. Support behavior management and encourage positive social interaction in the classroom. Assist with personal care where required, supporting student independence. The Ideal Candidate: A passion for working with children with SEN in a mainstream primary school. Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential; a willingness to learn is key Patience, empathy, and an ability to build positive relationships with children. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. A flexible, proactive approach to supporting children's diverse learning needs.
