About the Role: SEN Teaching Assistant:
As an SEMH Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils who require tailored emotional and behavioural support.
Your role will involve:
• Providing one-to-one and small group interventions to support emotional regulation and engagement in learning.
• Implementing behaviour strategies and creating a structured, safe, and positive environment for pupils.
• Working alongside teachers and the SENCO to develop personalised learning plans.
• Helping students build self-confidence, resilience, and positive relationships.
• Supporting pupils with coping mechanisms, de-escalation techniques, and emotional literacy.
