We are looking for a Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our Building Services team on-site in Scotland. The purpose of the role will be to carry out electrical services, PPM and Reactive Works in time and up to date.
This will include carrying out electrical Services, extra works and emergency procedures and to ensure all Statutory & mandatory compliance maintenance and records/certificates are always kept up to date in line with the contractual requirements and filed as Skanska Management System.
What you'll do:
* Deal with PPM and extra work requirements in adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with HASAWA requirement.
* Ensure that CAFM system is up to date at all times reporting jobs to the helpdesk and in line with Helpdesk requirements.
* Handle Fault Finding on electrical systems.
* Handle all maintenance tasks to take into account access, building users and ensure all H&S and contractual paperwork is approved and in place prior to work commencing.
* Be responsible for emergency lighting testing & inspection and repairs, Electrical Switchgear and Distribution Board inspections, Minor electrical works/projects and repairs to electrical/mechanical plant.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Candidate must have achieved the SVQ Level 3 Certificate in electrical installation jointly awarded by Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and the SJIB or an approved equivalent (City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in electrical Installation etc).
* Must have satisfactorily completed a recognised apprenticeship in electrical installation.
* City & Guilds 2391 desirable but not essential.
* Health & Safety IOSH qualification or similar.
* Be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with internal helpdesk/admin and clients at varying levels.
* Good understanding of electrical certification.
* Experience in using electrical multi-function testers.
