Due to an increase in work coming into the Burnley site, we are looking to expand our team of experienced Flexographic Printers. If you have the skills and experience required, we'd love to hear from you Shift Pattern: The attractive shift pattern involves working a mix of 12-hour day and night shifts working an average of 14 shifts per month. Principle Accountabilities: Ensure machinery runs at maximum output, bearing in mind quality and Health and Safety. Monitor and control print quality. Follow SOPs at all times ensuring that defective Quality material does not reach the customer. Working with and contributing to continuous improvement activity across site. Utilise the Print Assistant to the best of your ability to maximise uptime and minimise downtime. Ensure machine is left in a safe clean manner for your shift opposite and any issues communicated clearly. Clearly detail all paperwork to ensure traceability of product. Observe and abide by laid out Health and Safety rules. Observe and abide by Hygiene rules (BRC Accreditation). Run staggered meal breaks, to maximise production. Ensure Print Assistant is capable of supervising on machine to cover breaks. Issue Print Assistant with plan to allow next job to be prepared.
