Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (Experience dependent)
Are you ready to take your logistics experience to the next level with a leading provider of industrial, medical, and special gases? We are a recruitment agency working with a client in Brinsworth, looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Delivery Planner to join their team. In this role, you'll be responsible for planning bulk tanker deliveries, optimising operations, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
What You Will Enjoy Doing:
Planning Bulk Tanker Deliveries: Ensure deliveries meet high customer service standards while maintaining operational efficiency.
Managing Stock Levels: Review and manage customer stock levels, aligning supply with demand.
Liaising with Supply Sites: Work closely with supply sites regarding product availability, driver, and vehicle resources.
Strategic Network Planning: Undertake long-term planning to optimise the distribution network.
Flexibility and Commitment: Be prepared for night and weekend shifts when required, showing dedication to the role.
What Makes You Great:
Logistics Experience: You bring proven experience in logistics and delivery planning.
Data-Driven Decision-Making: Comfortable working with complex data to inform decisions and improve planning efficiency.
Logistics Qualifications: Ideally, you possess a relevant qualification in logistics or supply chain management.
Tech-Savvy: Experience with logistics planning software is desirable but not essential.
Strong Communication Skills: You excel at making decisions under pressure, working independently, and communicating effectively across teams.
