Description As a Director, People Business Partner at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), you will be a part of our growing People team to help our business meet its goals. The People team’s role is to attract, recruit, retain, develop, and motivate FBG team members to build an even stronger brand in talent and to contribute to a high-performing organization. The Director will partner directly with FBG’s Casino, Growth, and VIP team. Responsibilities Act as the lead PBP for FBG’s Casino, Growth, and VIP functions. Lead, contribute, and execute cross-functional, high impact, and future facing strategic initiatives independently. Take ownership of business specific and company wide HR functions and programs demonstrating strong initiative and accountability. Provide input on company level goals and develop policies/standards that guides your team, clients, and influences the way we work as a company. Prioritize partnership with executive leadership and proactively anticipate needs to enhance overall organizational culture and shape prioritization for each Executive’s organization. Act as trusted advisors to the business, consulting our Chief Growth Officer, VP Casino and VIP President and their leadership teams on best practices and driving change from the top down. Empower leaders to build their people management skills, fostering a culture of continuous development to strengthen leadership capabilities. Proactively identify leadership/team gaps and make recommendations on best resources to leverage and/or initiate the creation of resources. Identify and surface patterns to peers and leadership, communicating root causes, and plans to mitigate risks to the business. Continuously share best practices, provide constructive feedback, and take ownership of closing foreseeable gaps to enable initiatives efficiently. Expert in conducting data analysis to derive insights and execute data driven decisions. Act as a subject matter expert on global employment law and immigration needs. Experience and Skills 8 years HR or business partner experience Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey complex ideas and strategies to diverse audiences, influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels. Prior Commercial strategy partnership experience preferred. Intermediate experience with global employment law and employee immigration knowledge. Experience supporting C-suite executives with the ability to coach and influence leaders at all levels Creative problem solver who takes initiative, meticulously executes ideas, and takes ownership to drive impactful outcomes. Breadth and depth of global strategic HR and employment law experience Extensive experience in designing and launching initiatives and cross-functional collaborations from inception, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards. Exhibits exceptional emotional intelligence and sound judgment, fostering effective partnerships and making informed decisions to support business objectives. Exceptional internal communication skills for local business comms support. Open to regular travel to events and other Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetings
