Position
Position: DIOR Skincare Expert (37.5 hours)
Location: Glasgow
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To be an ambassador for Dior by raising the profile of skincare within the business and driving continuous commercial improvement in sales and market share across your store. You will be responsible for achieving skincare sales targets through expert application and service whilst sharing your knowledge with the Dior Ambassador team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales
1. To pro-actively sell Parfums Christian Dior products and provide a luxury standard of service to customers, through DIOR and the ‘Non-Negotiables’
2. To be aware of and achieve or exceed sales targets with a focus on skincare
3. To pro-actively link sell across product categories, to increase ATV and ATU
4. To educate clients and Dior ambassadors on Parfums Christian Dior products, in particular skincare trends and application
5. To be responsible for creating and implementing in store events with a focus on driving skincare sales
KPI:To achieve sales targets and actively drive skincare sales and the performance of the account with a focus on eventing
Service
6. To initiate contact with customers and welcome them both on counter and through traffic stopping with focus skincare products
7. To identify, understand and reformulate the client needs
8. To develop personal relationships with clients and to gain loyalty
9. Lead by example in all aspects of D.I.O.R demonstrating outstanding service to all clients
10. To update ipos tool with client data including all sales and client profile
11. To develop and utilise customer database on ipos to build clientele (phone calls, product launch events and appointments)
KPI: To achieve VIP target of 70%
Skincare Knowledge
12. To be knowledgeable on all Parfums Christian Dior products and be able to propose personalised products to clients, with a focus on skincare and specific benefits i.e. adapting a routine to clients’ skincare needs
13. Demonstrate products on clients using both focus products and backstage elements
14. To be an expert on skincare and conduct in store coaching to help Dior Ambassadors develop their skincare knowledge
15. Ensure you have knowledge of the recent skincare trends and advancements through social media and other accessible means
KPI: To deliver coaching tips to each BC once a week
General
16. To adhere to all Company procedures and policies, as outlined in the employee handbook
17. To build relationships with store management and adhere to all store policies and procedures
18. To carry out any additional duties as directed by the management team
19. To be a Parfums Christian Dior brand ambassador and representative at all times
20. To contribute to skincare events on counter and lead events where appropriate
21. To participate in merchandise management and ensure that it is in line with Corporate guidelines
22. To monitor stock levels, report any issues to the Counter Manager and ensure that there is sufficient levels
23. To conduct all assigned operational and administrative tasks

27. Sales ability: Proactively works towards the sales target, with a key focus on driving the Dior skincare business through eventing and on counter theatre

28. 2+ years’ experience in beauty
29. Expertise in skincare and knowledge of makeup and fragrance
30. Personal affinity with the Dior brand and products
31. Previous experience creating and implementing events
32. Follows social media skincare trends
33. Professional image reflecting DIOR and host store expectations
34. Flexible approach to working hours 5 out of 7 days a week in line with store trading hours
