About the role Exciting Opportunity - Temporary Full Time Secretary - Engineering Services up to 23/02/2026 The position provides a high level of secretarial, administration and organisational skills to the Head of Engineering Services and senior departmental staff. The position also manages the administrative functions of the Local Traffic Committee and provides general functions for the Engineering Services Department. Essential criteria A tertiary qualification in Secretarial / Office Administration / Business Management or related area Demonstrated experience in office administration and personal assistance, including the ability to maintain confidentiality Strong Microsoft Office skills (in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines Demonstrated teamwork skills Commencing salary: $76,329.00, p.a plus 11.5% Superannuation You will be required to undertake employment checks, which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test, as relevant to the position for which you have applied. Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes, you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council, for review, in order to progress through the recruitment process.
