SEN Support Assistant – Middlesbrough
£85-95 per day

The schools covered in the Middlesbrough area are interested in candidates with some experience supporting SEN & individuals who are passionate and show an interest in working with children with SEN.
In your role supporting SEN pupils you may:
1. Assist pupils learning through development/implementation of individual education/ behaviour plans.
2. Support children within the classroom, in small groups or 1:1.
3. Promoting independence where required by assisting with personal, physical or medical needs of children.
Do you have the following:
4. Experience with supporting SEN (desirable).
5. Ability to deal with situations & behaviour calmly and sensitively.
6. Have a passion for young children’s education & shaping their future, adapting to their individual circumstances.
7. Commitment and flexibility.
8. Committed to and supportive of positive behaviour management strategies.
9. Hold a Enhanced Child DBS (or happy to apply for one).
10. Driver is desirable but not essential.
