Great that you're thinking about a career with BSI Job Tile: Business Development Manager Location: Field based – South of England Package: Competitive salary OTE company car In this role, you will work within our System Certification business where you will own and manage your own territory. You’ll create a partnership with our clients, building an in-depth understanding of their business needs and drivers as well as, identifying and managing sales as opportunities in specific relation to our core ISO standards. This can include management system standards such as; ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO14001 Environmental Management, ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management and ISO 27001 Information Security management systems. You will own and manage the complete sales process from initial conversations, to building complex quotations through to a successful conclusion. This position is a field-based with travel required across the South of England to attend meetings and client visits. Additional responsibilities include: Proactively identify opportunities to win new business through growth of existing accounts and outbound activities Continuously seek opportunities to cross sell and/or upsell existing products and services Routinely review sales activity and quality KPIs, based on sales ratios to plan future sales activities to deliver on financial and activity targets. Create complex quotations in-line with compliance requirements Remain up to date with developments in the standards industry Effectively convey complex ideas and business proposals showing breadth and depth of BSI product offering General administrative duties including updating Salesforces and CRM About you: For this role, you will need to have proven field-based solution sales experience, selling multiple products and services across a range of sectors. You’ll have demonstrable experience in nurturing client relationships with the ability to influence across all levels including the c-suite. You’ll bring energy, new ideas and proven experience of sustained over achievement in new business and account management.
