Job summary As a Specialist Palliative Care Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals with complex palliative care needs. Working across St Lukes Hospices servicesincluding the In-Patient Centre, outpatient services, and community careyou will provide assessments, rehabilitation, and support to help patients maintain independence and achieve their goals. This role is available on a bank basis, offering flexibility. Main duties of the job Provide specialist physiotherapy assessments and develop personalised rehabilitation plans for patients with terminal illnesses. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, patient-centred care. Offer expert advice and training on moving and handling to staff, carers, and family members. Assess and arrange for specialist equipment, ensuring safe usage. Participate in discharge planning and contribute to the development of palliative care services. Maintain high standards of professional practice and accurate patient records.
