Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Team Leader to work full time based in a Children’s home in Hatfield.
The salary for this permanent Team Leader job is up to £30,500.
Main Duties:
* You will lead on the delivery of high-quality care and support within our children’s homes and be responsible for ensuring that it is compliant with the Children’s home regulations and Ofsted’s quality standards. You will ensure that you lead your team to provide exceptional experiences and outcomes for young people which support their personal development and readiness for adulthood.
* You will be responsible and accountable for the performance of your allocated staff team ensuring they are well led and trained. You will ensure your team are clear on the expectations of their role and have been given the knowledge, skills, and support to be able to succeed.
* You will coach and mentor Support Workers in relation to Great Interactions.
* You will be required to carry out a range of duties within your role. The key responsibilities are detailed below, but there will be other duties consistent with the role that you may be requested to undertake by your line manager.
Requirements of this job:
* Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification or equivalent, or willingness to undertake this.
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within Children’s residential care.
* Ability to show leadership skills.
* Experience of managing budgets.
* Direct involvement in Ofsted inspections.
* Full UK driving license.
* Experience of leading a team.
