We are working with an MGA based in Chelmsford who is part of a European Group that is rapidly expanding.
They are seeking someone who would be pivotal within the business to work within the Bordereaux/Binder team.
Salary and commission share, which makes this role very lucrative to the successful applicant.
A cross section of business to include Accident/Health Property and others
* Tracking timely receipt of premium/risk bordereaux for all delegated underwriting arrangements in place including contacting brokers for overdue or missing bordereaux. Escalating to Underwriting Manager or Operations Manager as appropriate where issues arise.
* Undertake monthly processing, tracking timeliness of premium/risk bordereaux submissions, and performing subsequent reporting performance of the underlying accounts.
* Identifying anomalies within the bordereau will require liaising with the brokers and underwriters, documenting your findings and, if required amending entries in our systems as necessary.
* Assisting with the setup of cover holder/binder information onto the inhouse bordereau management system using key details from the slip and ensuring where binders have multiple sections that all this information is uploaded accurately.
* To maintain compliance with any applicable UK or International statutory or regulatory obligation
Understanding of the processes and procedures of the Lloyds marketplace.
* Knowledge of binding authorities/bordereaux and cleansing/manipulating bordereaux data would be advantageous.
