The ability to interpret complex information and present its impact is key, as well as ensuring the team produces accurate and robust information.
Management experience is essential, with the ability to lead a function successfully, ensuring individuals are motivated and are clear on personal and strategic objectives. Candidates must be fully qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
