Learning Support Assistant
Part time, TERM TIME ONLY – 8 hours per week

Support Staff Grade 3 - £26,443 to £29,896 pro rata
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to work as a Learning Support Assistant primarily in our Senior School, to support the learning needs of a Year 7 student with an Education and Health Care Plan. You will be part of an outstanding team of staff who currently support students with a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities across the whole school.
The role will involve providing in-class support for the student, fostering a nurturing and encouraging relationship whilst delivering 1:1 dyslexia and ASC input. You will collaborate with colleagues to set and monitor outcomes.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience working with young people and in education, alongside an understanding or experience of supporting students with specific learning difficulties and/or ASC, although training is possible for the right candidate.
The role is 8 hours per week, term time only, funded by the Local Authority. Work pattern preferences can be discussed at interview. The salary is Grade 3 on the GDST national scale.
