Serene HC UK ltd operates a warm and welcoming nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional care for our residents in Manchester. We are currently seeking a skilled Joiner/Carpenter to join our maintenance team and help keep our home safe, comfortable, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities :
Carry out general carpentry and joinery tasks, including repairing doors, windows, flooring, and furniture
Install and maintain fixtures, fittings, and bespoke woodwork as required
Assist with general maintenance duties, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents
Work closely with the maintenance team to complete repairs and renovations
Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
Monitor and manage budgets for maintenance operations.
Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
Requirements
Proven experience as a joiner/carpenter
NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent qualification preferred)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
Good communication and organizational skills.
