EY is seeking an experienced and ambitious consultant with a track record in a configuration role in Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close (Oracle FCC) implementations to join our Finance Business Consulting team.
You will be part of a growing and diverse team that combines business implementation, systems integration, and financial modelling capabilities working across the Financial Services market. The opportunity
The Finance Business Consulting team is looking for a Senior Consultant with a delivery track record in Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close implementations (Oracle FCC) who can leverage business and technology-based solutions to deliver outcomes for our clients.

Prior consulting experience is a preferred requirement or delivering on Finance Transformation programmes in the Financial Services Industry. An understanding of Financial Services Organisation’s Target Operating Model, Process & Controls, Organisation Design, Change Management, and Business Readiness is needed.
Your key responsibilities
As a Senior consultant, you will be working alongside senior management in large scale Oracle EPM implementations in the Financial Consolidation space. You will also support business and practice development of the Finance Business Consulting team. You will be a trusted business advisor to our clients with a Finance technology systems implementation background.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Supporting the technical delivery of large and complex end-to-end Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC) implementation projects across the solution development lifecycle of the engagement including:
o Support the translation of clients' technical and accounting requirements to Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close functional and technical solution design.
o Configure components in Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close.
o Support the documentation of the solution’s test strategy and draft test scenarios and technical testing scripts.
o Support end user training and the knowledge transfer of the solution to technical client teams.
o Support the deployment of the solution to production and provide post go-live support.
* Guide more junior team members.
Skills and attributes for success
The ideal candidates will possess knowledge of Finance Transformation with proven prior experience on a technical configuration role with Oracle FCC implementation.
They must have excellent communication skills, a high level of commitment, the ability to handle pressure, and demonstrate leadership and problem-solving abilities in complex financial environments. Additionally, familiarity with Finance Technology applications, a commitment to quality delivery, and proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel are essential, along with the capability to manage senior stakeholder relationships effectively.
To qualify for the role you must have some or all of the following:
* Experience of at least one end-to-end implementation of Oracle Finance Consolidation & Close (Oracle FCC) implementations.
* Expertise with solution configuration of Oracle Finance Consolidation & Close (Oracle FCC) implementations preferably within the Financial Services sector.
* Exposure to Chart of Accounts & Data Model Design.
* Prior consulting experience.
* Exposure to the EPM lifecycle including planning, budgeting and forecasting, enterprise-wide KPI & reporting framework, profitability/cost analysis and experience with other EPM technologies would be desirable.
