We’re looking for a Bricklayer to join our Complex Repairs team in Redcar. If you’ve got the skills and experience, we'd love to hear from you!
As part of our team, you will carry out all repairs, maintenance and installation tasks, both internally and externally. We need you to deliver our right first-time approach, while complying with all our health and safety, customer and quality standards.
You will carry out all aspects of brickwork, including plastering, tiling, roofing work, pointing brickwork, drainage, paving, concrete paths and soakaways. You may also be required to mentor an apprentice, volunteer or work experience placement as part of this role.
In order to be successful in this role, it is important that you have an in-depth knowledge of both relevant legislation and repairs and maintenance of buildings in relation to bricklaying.
It is essential that you have the relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent trade experience as a Bricklayer. You must also have a full UK driving licence (if you have a disability, we will explore reasonable adjustments with you).
As part of this role, you may be eligible for allowances including an enhanced tool allowance, multiskilling allowance and callout payments, which will be discussed if you are invited to an interview.
Closing date for applications is Monday 25 November 2024. Applications will be reviewed throughout the duration of the advert and we may close it early should enough applications be received. We are not working with recruitment agencies on this vacancy.
At Beyond Housing, we are committed to ensuring that all applicants are treated fairly throughout our recruitment and selection processes and are not discriminated against on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.
