A privately owned commercial property and construction business based in Wolverhampton are looking to appoint a new Design Coordinator
The role:
Key Responsibilities:
Design Coordination:
Coordinate design activities between architects, engineers and contractors
Ensure timely delivery of design information
Monitor design programmes and highlight potential delays
Documentation Management:
Maintain design registers and technical submittals
Track and manage RFIs
Oversee drawing distribution and version control
Project Delivery:
Organise and minute design team meetings
Maintain action logs and chase outstanding items
Liaise with the wider project team
Technical Requirements:
Review drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit and preferably Navisworks
Ensure compliance with building regulations
Undertake regular quality checks on design deliverables Essential Requirements

The Person:
It is likely you will have previously worked as a Design Coordinator in a similar commercial property environment
Experience in design coordination or similar construction role
Degree in Architectural Technology, Construction Management or related discipline
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and preferable Navisworks
