FPG are recruiting for a Project Manager with experience in Digital initiatives/transformation/acceleration to join our customer on an initial 3 month contract.
Role purpose:
This role is to Manage the delivery of a suite of Digital Acceleration projects within Networks. Responsibilities will be to govern and manage RAIDs, Action Logs, Design and Requirements Documentation, manage Stakeholders at all levels, manage Project communication, manage the deliveries, Training and Change into the Business. Establish Steering Committee and related program governance.
Key accountabilities:
* Special point of contact for projects
* Requirement gathering and baseline requirement specification creation
* Relationship Management (Project Stakeholders, Suppliers and internal customers
* Delivery Management of key project including delivery plan(s)
* Weekly Project reviews
* Weekly Project updates/report to key stakeholders
* Risk (RAIDs) Management between stakeholders and suppliers
* Governance – ensuring any Cyber Demand / UK Privacy / Information Security guidelines are met (if applicable)
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
* Understanding of Project Delivery Lifecycle and Agile methodologies
* Understanding of mobile RAN systems
* Ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels if required
* Supplier Management/deliverables – ability to drive deliveries to meet end of FY target(s)
* Strong project management skills and the ability to drive through complex tasks with other SMEs.
* Strategic and tactical awareness.
* Excellent communication skills – able to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand.
* Experience with cross-functionally working and driving collaboration between teams and functions.
* Self-starter with a passion to own and drive through solutions or improvements.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
* PRINCE2 or PMI BOK practitioner
