Location: UK Remote with occasional travel to our Glasgow hub.

As a Cyber Security Communications Specialist, you'll play an important role in promoting a strong security-conscious culture across our organisation. The role is all about crafting engaging cyber communications and campaigns that encourage secure behaviours among colleagues and support the overall cyber culture programme. This is a brand-new role in a small team with big ambitions.

What you'll be doing
* Develop engaging communication strategies and campaigns to help colleagues identify and respond to security threats.
* Create high-quality, on-brand content in various formats (written, digital, video) for internal and external use.
* Develop innovative communication methods to drive audience engagement.
* Deliver complex cybersecurity concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
* Create feedback loops for positive engagement and open dialogue with colleagues.
* Evaluate key performance indicators to assess and improve the effectiveness of security communications.
* Assist with the development and delivery of the cyber culture agenda and objectives.
* Support the organisation's communication needs during cybersecurity incidents.
* Build connections and collaborate with stakeholders within the Group, representing the team at important forums and meetings.
We need you to have
* A background in creating precise communications within tight timescales and to the highest quality.
* Experience in designing and delivering internal communication campaigns.
* Instructional design knowledge with the ability to create engaging and on-brand learning materials.
* An understanding of basic cyber security principles, the human risk factors relating to cyber security and the impact these can have on businesses and society.
* Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to efficiently manage workloads, collaborate with stakeholders, and engage with subject matter experts.
It's a bonus if you have but not essential
* A history of collaborating with third parties to produce high-quality outputs.
* Experience in financial services or another regulated sector.
* Previous exposure of delivering crisis communications.
