We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in the NG10 area.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classes of 25-30 students across a variety of subjects, including Maths, English, and Science. You will oversee the completion of pre-set work in the absence of the regular teacher and ensure the school's behaviour policy is upheld. While direct teaching is not required, you will play a key role in supporting students' academic progress and maintaining a productive learning environment.
- Supervise classes and manage student behaviour in line with the school's policies.
- Deliver and oversee pre-set work across a range of subjects.
- Offer support to students, encouraging their academic development where possible.
- Adapt to the needs of the school by covering various subjects as required.
- Previous experience working with young people aged 11-16, in an educational setting or similar (e.g., sports coaching, youth work).
- A positive attitude with a genuine desire to contribute to students' learning and development.
- Flexibility and a willingness to engage with different subject areas across the curriculum.
- Specialisms in Maths or English are highly desirable but not essential.
