FIELD PRODUCT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN | LIVINGSTON

THE ROLE
We are looking for a talented individual who can offer their skills and experience to join our CAME UK Technical Services Division, as a field and office-based Product Support Technician.
As a Field Product Support Technician, you will work alongside our Technical Support Teams to carry out product technical support on CAME’s range of products distributed within the UK. Your role will be a hybrid between working from the office to provide telephone and email support to our CAME Entrotec intercom customers and being out in the field providing hands-on support to primarily our parking customers, as well as other products across the CAME Range.
We estimate that for around 60% of your role you will be part of our Technical team at CAME Entrotec, supporting, configuring and testing our range of intercom systems being assembled for dispatch from our Livingston facilities.
The majority of the CAME Entrotec support work will be office based but will also involve supporting customers in the field with fault finding, diagnostics and cloud connectivity.
As demand dictates you will also provide first level support out in the field for our Parking division, attending a variety of service call outs as directed by the CAME Parkare service-desk team, completing fault finding diagnosis on site, regular servicing of machines and participating in new system installs & updates.
Maintenance visits to our parking customers will be all across Scotland and from time to time to the north of England, also having responsibility to maintain accurate records regarding associated van stock.
Alongside parking system support, there will be occasional field support required for other products from within the CAME portfolio such as CAME automation equipment, BPT door entry, KMS Access Control and Ozak access equipment.
The hybrid nature of this role accommodates the flexibility required for the on-demand field service engineer call outs, whilst maximizing support for the office based CAME Entrotec technical team.
We need someone who is a clear thinker and measured decision maker in this hands-on role. Organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously are must-have skills to be successful in this role!
