Welcoming thousands of visitors per year, Hardwick is a busy site, especially during the festive period. You’ll be part of a seasonal team of staff to provide the best possible visitor experience for the Hardwick ‘Wintertide’ celebration, an Elizabethan twist on Christmas festivities and traditions. As the face of our property, you will be providing a warm and friendly welcome, delivering exceptional service to our visitors, to create a magical experience. You’ll be involved in different tasks to bring this to life, including meeting and greeting visitors, maintaining good presentation of the displays and equipment, working alongside a team of staff and volunteers, answering visitor questions and ensuring the ‘Wintertide’ experience in the hall is running smoothly. No two days are the same and you can expect to meet lots of different people and offer support across site where needed. This role is a chance to really engage with and inspire our visitors, as well as grow support for the National Trust through fundraising conversations and sharing our charitable cause.
