We have a great opportunity for a tenacious and career-driven Senior Change Risk Manager to join our team. This is a great job for someone who is naturally inquisitive, enjoys digging into the detail, and wants to move into an exciting role within our Group Risk function!
A bit about the job:
This role sits within the Technology & Transformation Group Risk team supporting both the Aviva Group and all Markets. The role provides an opportunity to work alongside Aviva’s most material Change and Transformation programmes, provides exposure to many senior stakeholders, and offers a large variety of enjoyable and important work. Much of what we do requires us to review the activities and reporting being undertaken by programmes and colleagues in 1st Line. To dig into the detail to identify potential risks, areas where programmes may fail, gaps in processes, and make recommendations on remediation activity. Key activities include:
* Providing Change risk oversight, challenge, and support to projects and programmes
* Supporting the business in the effective assessment and, where required, remediation of their Change activity
* Analysing Change risk and control information to provide insights that inform/support decision-making across Aviva Group and instil standard methodology
* Help to provide education and awareness training for colleagues across various functions and business units
* Support the delivery of risk reporting as required including CRO reports to Aviva Group and core market Risk and Executive Committees
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Experience and knowledge of change processes and associated risks
* Understanding of good risk management practices including management frameworks and systems
* An inquisitive nature and ability to ‘join the dots’, spotting emerging trends and therefore risks to the business
* Strong written & visual communication skills
What you’ll get for this role:
* National salary up to £75,000, London salary up to £85,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
* Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
