We can also support people who have:
1. A learning disability
2. Difficulties with communication
3. Mild to moderate behaviours that challenge
Oak House specialises in promoting the development of social and independent living skills to enable the people we support to lead active and fulfilling lives. As a Support Worker, you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our service users. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families, supporting service users in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative are vital; experience, however, is not essential, providing you have a willingness to learn and the compassion and patience needed to support.
What we’d like from you:
1. Excellent communication skills
2. Effective organisational capability
3. Great team player
4. Flexibility to respond to the changing needs of those who we support
5. Strong “can do” attitude
What we’d like to give you:
1. A competitive salary
2. Enhanced disclosure cost coverage
3. Comprehensive induction and commitment to ongoing training
4. Online benefits and cashback rewards
