We’re seeking a Social Media & Community Manager to be responsible for the EU wide Imaging business social media accounts, ensuring consistent, relevant posting, and driving growth in both follower numbers and engagement of the community.
You will create and prepare compelling content that resonates with the target audience. Additionally, you should engage with targeted online communities/influencers and attend key events to capture unique content, while fostering collaborations that enhance the presence and impact of our social media channels.
Our ideal candidate will be someone who wants to fully immerse themselves into the exciting worlds of filmmaking and photography and be adaptable across a variety of industry applications with our products. This role will require you to be on site three days, with two days from home each week, and you should be ready to travel, as you will attend a number of major film and photography events across Europe each year, as well as ad-hoc travel for other needs.
You will:
Social Account management
* Oversee B2B and B2C social media channels ensuring a consistent and engaging presence across platforms.
* Collaborate with the marketing and content management teams, refining strategies based on the latest social media trends, and maintain communication across all internal teams in Consumer, Cine, B2B Imaging, and Alpha Universe teams to ensure alignment and strategic consistency.
* Leverage industry knowledge in photography and filmmaking to drive impactful content; market research and curiosity will be key drivers of success.
Content creation
* Foster/create relationships with creators, filmmakers, and photographers to drive content for our channels.
* Attend key events and capture on-site video and photo content to showcase on our social media channels.
* Monitor and collaborate on local branch activities, and oversee and ensure high-quality, neutral content writing and approval processes.
Account reporting / statistics.
* Set yearly growth targets for followers, views, and engagement to drive continuous improvement and success.
* Produce regular account performance reports, along with detailed monthly updates on activities and results.
* Take data-driven actions based on performance results, following the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle for continuous optimization.
You will bring:
* Demonstrable experience in social media and community management for business-to-consumer, driving social media growth across platforms.
* Industry knowledge of cinematography and movies, and basic understanding of the photography industry.
* Skills in video production and photography basics, as well as video/photo editing skills (reels, stories, and regular posts).
* Strong sense of ownership & accountability on content quality and brand perception with customers.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environment.
